Real Estate Brokerage Founder
Harry J Rice began marketing real estate in the 1970s. His father Harry A, had been selling insurance products for years. The two also owned the Candlelite restaurant in tandem with Bo Rice. HJ knew our community well. He grew up in Lawrenceville and later was a coach and educator for Bridgeport High School becoming the first principal for the newly formed Red Hill High School. He had a background in vocational trades and administration. He retired from Red Hill High School in the mid 1990s. At that time, he devoted most of his time to real estate sales and appraisals. He also served Frontier Community College as a county coordinator and served on several boards including the Peoples National Bank board and later Old National Bank board plus the Industrial Development Council. HJ loved his family, his students, his staff, his friends, his church, and the community. We were bless to have him as our founder and leader and plan on continuing his tradition.
